Her Practice
If chiropractors could be technique specialists, Dr. Kesten would fall into that category. Her primary method works to diffuse old cellular memory patterns related to the patient’s symptoms. As an example, a person is in an auto accident, and ever since the collision, (years later), that person tightens up when he/she is driving in a high-traffic area. Dr. Kesten’s method helps to diffuse the trauma and allow the person to enjoy driving again. It also works for fears, phobias and other traumas. She also uses manual muscle testing to look for specific muscle weakness and correlates the information to areas requiring adjusting.
Dr. Kesten practices Classical Homeopathy, a form of natural medicine. This can be used for health concerns that chiropractic is not typically used for like GI complaints, mental/emotional issues, hormonal difficulties, etc. For specific information on homeopathy, Dr. Kesten has published a brochure called Homeopathy 101.
A third aspect of Dr. Kesten’s practice is Acupuncture Meridian Therapy. She uses a machine that measures micro-current passing through acupuncture meridians and balances the abnormal findings with acupressure.
Dr. Kesten offers nutritional advice, including muscle testing of food and supplements, and is a proponent of the Blood Type Diet, making available typing kits if the blood type is unknown.
She also offers foot reflexology, 30 minutes of pure relaxation.
